Presentation: Cream 2g.

Active Ingredients: Aciclovir 5%.

Approved Indications: Treatment of herpes simplex of the lips and face (cold sores).

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to aciclovir or propylene glycol.

Precautions: Not for use on mucous membranes and eyes.

Adverse Effects: Transient burning, stinging, flaking of the skin, erythema, itching.

Directions: Apply cream five times daily during waking hours, for 5 days. Treatment may be continued for up to an additional 5 days.
