Presentation: Emulgel 20g, 50g, 100g.

Active Ingredients: Diclofenac sodium 1% w/w.

Approved Indications: For inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any ingredient. Patients in whom attacks of asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis are precipitated by aspirin or other NSAIDs.

Precautions: External use only. Likelihood of systemic effects is small compared with oral diclofenac. Apply only to healthy and intact skin surfaces, avoid eyes or mucous membranes. Use with caution in pregnancy or lactation.

Adverse Effects: Occasional contact dermatitis, generalised skin rash, hypersensitivity or photosensitivity reactions.

Directions: Apply 2-4g two to three times daily.
