Presentation: Cream 10mg/1g, 20g Solution 10mg/1g, 20ml.

Active Ingredients: Ciclopirox olamine.

Approved Indications: For the topical treatment of skin fungal infections, caused by dermatophytes, yeasts or moulds, including tinea pedis, tinea cruris and tinea corporis due to Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum and Microsporumcanis, candidiasis due to Candida albicans and tinea (pityriasis) versicolor due to Malassezia furfur.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to ciclopriox olamine or any of the excipients.

Precautions: Use the medication for the full treatment time. Avoid the use of occlusive dressings, must not be applied to the eyes or used vaginally. Should not be used during pregnancy or lactation without first assessing risk versus benefit.

Adverse Effects: Local itching, burning or skin irritation may occasionally occur.

Directions: Cream - apply twice daily to the affected areas and allow to dry. Solution - apply two or three times daily to the affected areas and rub in gently.
